We really enjoyed our visit here as the beer quality was excellent, with a friendly barmaid and locals alike. There was a pile of homemade Veg Samosas on the bar £1 each, which went down well with our first pint. The bar area was situated over on the left hand side, with a large collection of pump clips displayed on the wall leading down a small lobby way.
Other features were the ceiling lamps constructed from heavy industrial steel machine cogs painted in gold.
Four handpumps on the bar serving Holden's Golden Glow, Titanic Plum Porter, Goff's White Knight and Langton Top Lock. We went for the Langton which was a superb session ale.
They also have a patio area adjoining the left hand side of the pub, which was a real sun trap. This is where we polished off a large fish and chips from the chippy next door. Good prices in here also.

Still going strong and still well used by the locals. 4 ales on and the 2 I had were fine. Plenty of cobs and snacks available. A great little pub!

Really enjoyed my first visit. 4 ales on when I called - Holden's Golden Glow, Anubis porter, Timothy Taylors Bolt maker and Magic Rock Snow White. I tried 3 of them and they were all in top form. Well worth a visit.
